The Glare Technologies-developed Chaotic fractal art application has quite a lot to offer: edit randomized fractals, random world generator, partial randomization, world/palette/animation editor, fast rendering engine, good looking interface, and more. Get this tool and you will be able to create stunning animations and impressive wallpapers.

Chaotica is available for multiple platforms: Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
Focusing on Windows alone, it must be mentioned that Chaotica is available for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows editions. It must also be mentioned that Chaotica is available as an installer and as a portable version. The system requirements for running Chaotica on a Windows PC are: CPU with SSE2 (64-bit processor recommend), at least 1GB of RAM (2GB or more recommended), 100MB of free disk space.

Chaotica has a dark-themed interface that is quite good looking. The interface is also customizable; from the Tools menu you can pick and choose what elements are displayed on the interface.
If you have any problems figuring out the interface and/or using the interface to access the functionality Chaotica has to offer, then I invite you to check out the online manual, the tutorials, and the Chaotica forum.

From a functionality point of view, you can expect the following from Chaotica: create a new empty world or a new random world; customize the render settings; customize the random world generator; save world as a Chaotica .chaos file or save it as a PNG image; copy/paste XML to/from clipboard; world, palette, and animation editor; customize imaging settings; and more.

Chaotica is free for personal, non-commercial use. Images are limited to 1920x1920 pixels in resolution and animations are limited to 30 seconds and 480p. To create larger images and animations you must get a license for a paid Chaotica version – Chaotica HD or Chaotica Studio. Chaotica HD is limited to 2560x1600 resolution images and 3 minutes long, 720p animations. Chaotica Studio comes with no limitations.

Create stunning images and animations with the properly good fractal art application Chaotica.
